What a nice post! I am renovating a similar cottage on an island and I can't wait to use some of the ideas. I have an old cabinet from my last house and I never thought of using it for the upper cabinetry. I just saved some money and will have a more interesting kitchen!Thank you Daily Basics!
I am on a renovating kick...OK, more like necessity. I wish my house was actually older and had more charm...it is from 1954 and then added on to and added on to, etc. Our big job is making it look like it all belongs together...that leads me to...I need every piece of info I can on clever DIY kitchen redo. Thanks for sharing the link to this piece. Holly 504 Main
As a magazine editor for the last 15 years for national Shelter magazines, I have segued into the online life and am LOVING it. I started with www.thedailybasics.com when we started publishing fewer titles in the publishing industry and grabbed a few of my other almost out of work editors to help out. We are still tweaking but LOVING the life.
